FRANCINE LYLE PSYCHOTHERAPY
About Me
I hold an undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Stanford University. My earlier academic background focused on neuropsychology and the study of human behaviour which led me to my passion and interest in helping people understand themselves on a deeper level. My own journey and my understanding of the nuanced interaction between stress/emotions and our health eventually led me to retrain as a psychotherapist. I completed my training at Regents University London, where I obtained a Master’s Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy.
It is well established that the mind and body are deeply interconnected and that our mental well-being can affect our physical well-being, and vice versa. While I work with people with a variety of mental health issues, I have a particular interest in the intersection between mind and body, particularly as it relates to health issues such as Chronic Pain, Long Covid, Anxiety, ME/Fibromyalgia, Auto Immune Diseases and “unexplained” health issues. My aim is to help clients understand themselves within this context, to support them with their journey towards better mental and physical well being, and to help unlock what is often held subconsciously in the body.
